UX Launchpad

Not a course. Not an internship. Your first real UX experience.

Work with a real business for 5 weeks — in a team, with mentorship, AI-enhanced workflows, and client presentations. Build a portfolio case study that proves you're job-ready.

5 weeks · 15–20 hrs/week · Real client · $175 USD/month × 4 months

Why Launchpad?

You've taken the courses. You've built practice projects. But you're still missing the things employers actually care about:

  • Real business feedback — not classmates being polite
  • A real problem to solve, with real constraints
  • A real team to work with, roles and all
  • A case study that isn't made up
  • Practical experience using AI to speed up and strengthen your UX workflow

What you get.

Five things a tutorial can't give you.

Real experience

A real client project with real constraints, stakeholder feedback throughout, and a final presentation to the business.

Mentorship & support

Feedback from mentors and industry professionals — on process, communication, and decision-making, not just pixels.

Team-based collaboration

Work in a UX team with defined roles. Practice the teamwork and client-facing skills interviews actually probe.

AI workshops & skills

3–4 expert-led workshops on using AI to research, ideate, and iterate faster — work smarter, not harder.

Portfolio-ready deliverables

A complete, interview-ready case study with Figma files, research, and documentation — proof you solve real problems.

Certificate & network

A digital certificate of completion plus ongoing access to the IterateUX community after the program ends.

5-week structure

How it works.

Week 1

Kickoff & planning

Meet your team, meet the business partner, understand the challenge, and align on your project plan.

Weeks 2–4

Research, design & iteration

Run user research, define problems, ideate solutions, build interactive designs — using AI where it genuinely helps.

Week 5

Final delivery

Hand in your final Figma file, case study, and report. Present your work to the business partner.

Wrap-up

Learn & celebrate

Learn from other teams, get final feedback, and celebrate your win.

Is Launchpad right for you?

  • You want real-world UX experience, not another simulated project
  • You're tired of fake case studies and silent job applications
  • You want feedback from real business partners
  • You want to strengthen your AI-assisted UX process
  • You want mentorship, structure, and proof you can deliver

Beginners welcome — basic Figma familiarity and UX 101 knowledge expected. Fully online; teams matched by time zone. Client businesses are in North America.

Questions, answered.

How much time will I need each week?
Plan for 15–20 hours per week — team meetings, client check-ins, research, design work, and presentations.
How will I be placed in a team?
A short questionnaire on your skills, availability, and interests. We match diverse teams to balance skills and experience. Team assignments are final — navigating collaboration is part of the real-world experience.
Do I need prior UX experience?
No — committed beginners are welcome. Basic familiarity with Figma and solid UX 101 knowledge will help you get the most from it.
What if I miss a workshop?
All workshops are recorded. Team meetings require live attendance, but your team can coordinate async work if something comes up.
How is this different from an internship?
More creative ownership, direct business interaction, and a shorter, more intense timeline — designed to grow you quickly and produce a polished case study.
