UX Interviewer roles

Recruiter

Behavioral Interview includes identifying talent for the job opportunity, conducting initial interviews, assessing the Job Seeker' skills and qualifications that align with their resume, expertise, and career goals in the UX field.

Hiring Manager

Portfolio Interview includes evaluating the candidate's suitability for a UX design role by reviewing their portfolio, asking specific questions about showcased projects, assessing technical skills and experience, and considering cultural fit.

Senior UX Designer

Take-home Assignment includes assessing and evaluating the Job Seeker's design skills, problem-solving ability, and communication effectiveness to determine their fit for the role.

At the end of each interview, you will have 10 minutes to provide feedback on their performance and help answer the Job Seeker’s questions.

A maximum of 25 Observers with muted mic may attend the Interview Mockup.

Interview Process

Apply
Select the role which you are interested. IterateUX will reach out via email to discuss next steps.

Discussion
You will receive a 30-minute zoom call invitation to discuss your availability, responsibilities, and questions you may have.

Onboarding
You will receive an onboarding guide, agenda, as well as a Job Seeker's resume and portfolio to review in advance.

Interview Day
Interview the Job Seeker via Zoom. Use the last 10 minutes to give feedback on improving their interview skills. Observers can join to watch the session.

Compensation
To express our appreciation, compensation will be discussed in the 1:1 discussion and sent after role completion.

How many sessions I need to help?
During our Interview Mockup Program, we'll have a maximum of four Job Seekers per session. You're welcome to assist in one to four sessions, depending on your availability. Even if you can only participate in one session, it's still greatly appreciated!

What's the compensation?
While this is a volunteer position, we truly value your contribution and believe it can significantly impact UX designers in their careers. To express our appreciation, compensation details will be provided in full through the confirmation email.
